After a very long battle with colon cancer and then brain cancer, Battista passed away peacefully, at the age of 75 years, at Bethell House, Inglewood. Loving father of Adele, Crestina, Paula, Lody, Laura and survived by their mother Ida. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Lisa; Michael, Gabriel, Lucas; Enrico, Isabella; Giovanni and Marilena. Dear brother of Letizia and Pina in Italy and dearly missed by their families. Will be missed by cherished pets Puppy, Stella and Rocco.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday evening 7 – 9 o’clock, Wednesday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Thursday morning, March 17 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:15 a.m.).
Entombment Last Supper Mausoleum, Glendale Memorial Gardens, Etobicoke.
