Dear Michelle & Pepe
I was so very sorry to hear about Ann – she was a great lady – I shall miss hearing her say “well what can you do” when she was discussing her situation. She was a bright light whenever she came in to the ReUstore and we had discussions about whether she should buy another chair or picture. You will probably have a lot of chairs and pictures to deal with now. She will certainly be missed.
Thinking of you both and your family.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

Dear Michelle and Pepe,
Today I learned of the passing of your dear mother Anne from my sister Adeline and Gino in Italy. I was saddened with this news but have some wonderful memories from having known Anne. I was fortunate in the seventies to socialize with Anne and your dear father Gianni at the frequent dinner parties held with family and friends. Anne was always fun, casual and friendly to be around. Later in Italy we took a wonderful short trip to Taormina with our children and on that trip I was touched by her caring ways towards everyone. I am glad to have known Anne and will cherish the memories.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting your mother. We met her through a good and mutual friend Vivian Wilcox. Such a wonderful lady, who will be missed by all who knew her.

Dear Michelle, Pepe, Abigail and Ethan You had a lovely, friendly, brave, talented Mother/Grandmother and know that your wonderful memories will help you through these very sad days. Ann was a very caring friend to our Mum (87) and with Ann’s love of garage sales/ recycle stores, kept her in knitting wool on a regular basis. Imagine how many homeless/ womens shelters have reaped the benefits over many, many years of Ann’s wool and knitted blankets. We will miss her smile, her beautiful accent and her “treats” that she always bought with her. We are thinking of you all and send love from Hazel, Pam, Pat and Jan.

Sincere condolences to Ann’s family. We will miss her cheerfulness and her wonderful singing voice. May she rest in peace. Isabelle

Pepe, Michelle and Family,
Even in her final days your mother had a spirit like no other. She was an inspiration to all who had the privledge of knowing her.
Sitting in your home listening to her speak of her handsome son, strong and bright daughter and beautiful grandkids were common on my visits. She was always welcoming and as we sat with homemade scones and honey I would listen to childhood stories, memories of your father and cherished family moments.
Your mother will be missed but her spirit will live on in each of you.
Thoughts and Prayers

What a shock to see the photo of such a dear lady in the local Bolton newspaper. Anne belonged to a little choir that I participated in here in Bolton. We knew she was having a hard time, but there was always that smile and she came out to practice whenever she could. Anne also sang at the Senior Centre here in Bolton, at least on one occasion and her deep lovely voice made such an impression on me. She was so gracious when leaving our little choir practice when saying her good-nights. It is a blessing to have known such a nice lady. What a legacy she leaves, and if we can all do the same, what a great life! Love and regards to all of her wide family and friends.
