Albert Ross Wilson, in his 90th year, passed away in his sleep on December 21, 2023. Ross was born in Toronto, Ontario to Albert Oscar and Kathryn (Halliday) on June 16, 1934. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joan (Wilker) and his dear sister Marion Lounsbury. He was a loving father to Graham and his wife Anne Marie, Reid, Susan, Heather and her husband Scott Elliott. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Zackery, Tyler, Clark and Abby Elliott; Joshua, Jordan and Bethany Berrezueta and Caitlin and Mark Vandenbroek.
Ross worked tirelessly running his own business well into his 70’s and especially loved working with people. He greatly enjoyed traveling, and spent fond summers with the family at the cottage on Cedar Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. More recently he loved having a “good chat” with a friend.

We were deeply saddened by the news about the death of Ross. For so many times, we waved at Ross at 4:30 pm as he departed to visit his lovely wife Joan. In summer. we often stood in between our garages talking about things, especially his 1950s antique car. I remember one day he drove the car over from Erin, but I came back late that day from work. Ross kindly left the garage door open so that I could see it from my side. It was a very impressive and very well maintained vehicle. Ross was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all of us. Our deepest condolences to you. May God bless you and your family during this difficulty time.

Ross, Although you have left us, you will never be forgotten. I knew when I first met you at the Davis Centre that you were a kind, loving soul, devoted husband and a real gentleman. I enjoyed our many chats as you sat with Joan and I sat with my Mom each evening. It was there I met Reid, who also was a regular at the Davis Centre and your daughters Susan, Heather and son Graham. A lovely family who will miss you terribly. God Bless you Ross and your family, who can sustain themselves by remembering all the good times.
