Joe and Marian were our next door neighbours for 28 years. It was indeed a pleasure having them as friends and neighbours. Our sons were best friends, and in and out of each other’s houses, all the time, growing up. Joe always had a smile on his face, always pleasant. So sorry that his last few years were difficult ones for him and the extended family. Rest in peace, dear friend, you certainly knew how to enjoy life.

Marion, Douglas, Craig and Bradford (and families) –
We were so saddened to hear the news of Joe’s passing. We have been neighbours for more than 22 years and can recall so many fond memories. Joe was always kind to us, our daughters, and our dog. In fact, Joe was a favourite to all the dogs in the area lucky enough to walk by and get a good dose of loving from Joe. He was a trickster and loved a good laugh. He loved kids – especially his grandchildren and certainly our kids. Always fun, and always kind!
Thank you Joe, for having such a huge positive impact on our lives. You’ll forever be in our hearts.
Peter, Christine, Hailey, and Brookelyn

Mrs. Neilson, Douglas, Craig, Bradford and family.
I was sad to hear about Mr. Neilson’s passing. As a family the “Rodneys ” spent many good times on Silverstone drive.
My Dad Jim and Joe were great buddies, football nights etc.
I always remember Mr. Neilson saying “Birthday” that’s a fat word, in his strong proud Scottish accent.
May you rest in peace Mr. Neilson.
