Mollie, David, and all the Easton family, we offer our heartfelt condolences. Alistair was our special next door neighbour, and friend for close to 40 years. We’re all going to miss him. I’m glad he saw Scotland one more time before his passing. We had a lot of laughs, and special moments on Stephen Drive. Thank you Al, and Mollie for being so kind, and generous to my 3 boys, Geoff, David, and Michael. We’ll all be at the service. Take care.

Hi Molly and David,
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Alister. You have always been the best of neighbouyrs over the years and I have never seen anyone kick a mean soccer ball like Dave. I have included you on on the prayer list in my parfish of St. Olave’s Anglican Church in the Bloor West Village. I sincerely apologize for not being able to make it to the service today, but I’m not feeling the best for the three hour drive to be with you. I do know our family will be represented by my brother Glen. All the best and I wish you all every blessing.

What a wonderful Gran & Gramps we inherited when Cory married our Shealagh. Mollie and Alastair were such a lovely addition to our family get-togethers and a joy to all family and friends who met them. We were privileged to host their 60ieth Wedding Anniversary & to join them for dinners at their favourite Bolton restaurant.
Mollie will always have a place at our table…and Alastair – a place in our hearts…
Best love from Vicki & Mark Baker, and Kristen, Marco & Ryker Mathys.

As Shealagh’s aunt, Cory became the a wonderful nephew whose quick smile and sunny disposition added joy to many a family occasion. Clearly, he inherited Alastair’s twinkle. My fondest memory of Alastair and Mollie is their insistence that they would visit my husband, Michael, during a respite stay in Bolton. They kept everyone on their toes !
Kindness and concern for others and high expectations that everyone shared their Scottish traditions, earned them a special place in the lives of friends, neighbours and acquaintances throughout their 66 years together.
Dear Alastair will be sorely missed by many, but none so much as Mollie.
With deepest sympathy,
Dene
