Peacefully surrounded by her family, at her home in Bolton, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Andrena Jackson, at the age of 71 years. Loving mother of Krystal Jackson of Tottenham and Kevin Jackson of Beeton. Cherished grandmother of Cosmo John Jackson and Hunter Wesley Jackson.
Dear friends; my brother Kevin and I will continue our mother’s work in Belize. Specifically she was involved in the Belize Project run by her sister Maureen and brother-in- law, Andy. The project involves raising funds to create scholarships for students in Belize. Belizean families must pay fees starting in primary school all the way to university. Belize is a very poor country and without these scholarships the students will be relegated to doing backbreaking work in the fruit orchards, at minimum wage, for the rest of their lives.
In lieu of flowers Kevin and I are asking that you consider making a donation in our mother’s memory to the Belize Project. You can do so by
e-transfer to andyharjula@gmail.com or by cheque or cash to myself and I will transfer the money to Andy. Of course you may have your own favourite charity you wish to support.
The project is not registered as a charity but 100% of your support will go to Belize as there is no administrative overhead or any other hidden expenses.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life for Andrena will take place on Saturday, March 5th between the hours of 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Caven Presbyterian Church, 110 King Street West, Bolton. Please enter through the side doors to join the family on the upper level.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Condolences for the family may be offered at www.EganFuneralHome.com

So very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Andrena was a special lady. Such a kind sweet lady. I remember playing ball with her and the fun we had. Also remember delivering flowers to her on her birthday “To Lizzie” ….From “Stanley.”
She used to laugh when she got them. Keep those happy memories close.

Our sincerest condolences to both you and your family. What sad news to hear of your mother’s passing. It was a shock as we didn’t know that she was ill. You and your mom moved in next door to us on Connaught many years ago . We have many fond memories of those days when we were young and you and our children were just little munchkins.
RIP, dear Andrena

Andrena is a very special person. Growing up calling into VSP she would know my voice and we’d talk about life, family, friends before passing the phone to my Dad.
She will always live in my mind and heart as the most caring person full of positivity.
Thoughts and prayers to her family.
I’ll miss you Andrena. The world will miss you.
Love Mike

Krystal and Kevin,
I was indeed saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was always so cheerful and positive when we spoke. She will be missed.
Maureen Harjula
Andrena will be missed terribly by her brother Michael Lundie and his family, wife Cathy, sons Ryan, (Ashleigh) Joel (Tracy) and Kyle, grand children Evan and Charlotte; and her sister Maureen and her husband Andy, children Steve and Kathryn. Andrena spent many wonderful days with us and spent many hours helping her brother in law Andy with his charity sending children to school in Belize. She worked tirelessly collecting soccer equipment, clothing and money to donate. She was passionate about these children and felt that it was a very worthy cause because every cent collected went to educating those children. We will all miss her.
Peter Kapogines
Always a warm smile and a pleasant conversation, which is how I will remember Andrena.
We have been neighbours for longer than I can remember. I would usually see her sitting on her porch when I walked through the park or on Sundays when she was returning from church. We would spend a few minutes chatting and exchange stories of our grandchildren.
The neighbourhood will not be the same without her. May she be at peace.

Krystal and Kevin, your mom was a gem. She loved you guys and her grandsons so much, and spoke about you all the time. She was the most positive person I’ve ever met, right to the end.
She had a wonderful sense of humour, and used to make us ladies at bible study laugh all the time.
Hold on to all of the wonderful memories of her. She will be greatly missed.
