I worked with Anne at the Chez Thrift for over 10 years and we had a great relationship. She was very proud her children and told me many stories about her life and growing up in Bolton.
Even though I moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, Anne and I kept in touch and would reminisce
about the days gone by and how Chez Thrift grew. I will miss talking to her but she knew I loved
her.

Mrs. Walton, as I called her each time I walked in to Chez Thrift over many many years, was a force to be reckoned with. She gave and gave and gave and gave and gave. to Caledon Community Services. Then she gave some more! We were truly built on shoulders like hers over many years, Anne was a fixture in all CCS did since our inception in the early 1970s. She shared many lessons with me on what was needed in the community, how CCS should go about its business, what our community stores should do to succeed and so much more. I listened. There were always pearls of wisdom from her, no surprise from someone who was a volunteer and community builder like no other. Mrs. Walton’s legacy is our community organization runs deep, it is one of strength and determination and conviction. Anne is much beloved by staff and volunteers and on behalf of the entire CCS family, I extend heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and admirers.

Anne was a volunteer extraordinaire and the first very deserving recipient of Volunteer MBC’s Lifetime Achievement award for dedicating her life to helping out her community. I had the privilege of volunteering alongside her for many years at Chez Thrift. We shared many laughs and I used to love listening to her life stories, filled with such wisdom. May your Angel wings take you home to your loved ones who are waiting for you with open arms. Rest in peace Anne.

Anne was one in a million. Her never ending desire to give back to the community was something truly amazing. I always enjoyed my conversations with Anne at CCS. She never held back and her enthusiasm was infectious. I loved listening to her boast about her family and all the different groups she was involved with. Her spunky approach to life always made me smile. She was a strong woman with community in her heart. She will be missed by her CCS family.
Rest In Peace Anne.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs Walton. When our paths would cross Anne would always refer to me as her little brownie. As I am an adult now, I understand the comittment and devotion Anne gave of herself to other children when she had her own to take care of. Our brownie meetings were held every Tuesday after school at the old town hall. I looked so forward to them, only because of my brown owl!
Blessings to all of Anne’s family at this difficult time.

We have always been impressed with Anne’s leadership in brownies and girl guides. She was dedicated, energetic, and opinionated, but always with a big heart. Just a few months ago at age 90, after she injured her arm in a fall, the first thing she told us she wanted to do was to get back to driving her car. Bolton will miss Anne Walton.

Heartfelt condolences to each of you for the loss of a beautiful person.
Memories of Anne include how she and Syd enjoyed our wedding 54 years ago. Anne rekindled my love of Guiding by encouraging me to open a unit at Macville School. That involvement lasted 15 years in Macville and Bolton. Anne always ensured protocol was followed.
May she rest in peace

Oh Anne, I missed you all this time and had you in my prayers; my sincere condolences to her family. We lost touch since she stopped volunteering at the CCS Cheft Thrift and I moved from Bolton in early 2018. Just learned of her passing today when visiting the RStore and asked staff. I had such a great time sharing with her stories and her wise advise; long talks we had at least once a week back in time. She loved her Choir and volunteering; she did not want to stop after her time with CCS , she was going to look for other places to do it, I remember she said to me. Dear Anne, May your soul rest in peace and enjoy the richness of Heaven with our merciful God. Love,
SS.
I just miss you.
Kathy Pfundt
My deepest sympathy in your loss. I know Anne because my daughter, Amanda Jones Boisvenue was in her girl guide troop and did she ever learn off of Anne. I ran into her numerous times at Chez Thrift when she asked me what I needed this or that for. And advocatesd for her to be added to the new restore. Just remember nothing much goes on but those memories should last a lifetime and more to all family and friends. Best wishes all around.
