Our condolences and deepest sympathies. My father Karl, who is now 94, has fond memories of first meeting the Schmitt family where they all lived at the apartment at 2257 Jane Street back in 1961. Annemarie will be sadly missed and may she rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Frank, Mary, family and friends….
Annemarie, was a very special lady….a dear friend, who was a great inspiration…. We will miss her kind and generous hospitality and strong, positive attitude till the end…
When speaking to her a few weeks’ ago, she still gave her usual giggle, even though she was more frail….the sense of humor remained!
Wonderful memories to cherish…
R.I.P. Annemarie…

Our deepest sympathy to Annemarie’s family. We have great memories of living beside the Schmitt family for many years. Annemarie taught me how to make her famous cheesecake and how to decorate clothes hangers. She was a ray of sunshine and we pray that she rests in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to you, Frank, and your family. I just learned today of the passing of your beloved mother, Annemarie. Annemarie was a dear and long time friend of my late mother (Lina Schewske). I had the pleasure of driving them to the German Martin Luther Evangelical Church, and afterwards stopping at Tim Horton’s for lunch. We always enjoyed a good time and great conversation. Your mother was such a lovely spirited lady. I was very fond of her and it was a joy to know her. I deeply regret not keeping in touch with Annemarie after my mother passed in 2020. God bless you all.
Affectionately, Elisabeth Stum (nee: Schewske).
