Scott, Patti and familes,
We wanted to send our condolences to you on the death of your wonderful Mom and grandmother. She had a great sense of humour, a beautiful smile and her love for her family always shone through.
Hang on to your memories during this time and know others are thinking of you.

Oh my I sit here with tears in my eyes. I decided today to try to find your Mom, Scott and Patti. I heard lots about you two when you were growing up. You see your Mom and I became acquainted before we both started high school, her in Orangeville, and me in Woodbridge, Ont. We both knew Olive Gallagher, she was my I think Grade 6 teacher then, and I think she was related to Audrey. Miss Gallagher was teaching us how to write letters, so we were given penpals. That is how I came to know your Mom. We corrresponded for many years before we were married, then we attended each others wedding both, hers at the church in Orangeville and mine in Woodbridge, Presbyterian. Once we married our letters were fewer as time went on, and we were raising a family. My later husband(he died in 2008) and myself moved a lot as he was in the RCAF. I had 2 girls, and I was informed when you both arrived on the scene. I know your Mom worked a lot at the Orangeville Police Dept., and your Dad was a transport driver I believe. Your Mom stayed pretty close to home, I travelled from one end of Canada to the other and I live on Vancouver Island, and I am 87 next month. I knew we were fairly close in age. Your Mom and I poured each others joys and woes onto the pages our pen letters. I feel bad that we lost touch, and I have lately been trying to find former friends through Facebook., only sorry I did not do it earlier. Please write and tell me how you Mom was over the years, I do hope she did not suffer for a long time. I am dealing with a few health issues as we all do as we age. I am sure your Mom delighted in her grandchildren, I know love mine dearly, 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 3 great grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter. When things settle down you could maybe write me a line at my address jinnybug@shaw. ca or postal mail PO Box 194, Parksville, B.C. V9P 2G4. Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your beloved mother.
