Wendy, so sorry to hear Bunny had left us. I first met both your parents when they owned the Frosty Freeze in Bolton.
The both were like parents to me so friendly and caring.
When I got married, of cyhey were invited., this happened May 1974.
They sold the Frosty Freeze, and was gone, Jack’s burger was built.
It didn’t stop there, Bunny opened a dress shop downtown Bolton.
Years past, my divorce and moved away
Years later, at zhers, a lady called my name, while we were checking out the prime rib. I was taken back not knowing who she was. I kept thinking about this. It finally hit me later that night..it was Bunny.
At my wedding, their gift was 3 pieces of corningware which I still have and always remembered Bunny and Stew. They always spoke about their daughter Wendy, then Wendy’s wedding and 4 grandchildren.
I also remember when they sold their home by the pond on Palgrave
My deepest condolences to you Wendy and your family., . She was a remarkable lady.
RIP Bunny!

Wendy, So very sorry for your loss and send my sincere condolences. When I was in my teens I worked for your Mom & Dad in the General Store in Palgrave one summer, Your Dad was such a tease and your Mom so very kind. We also sang together in the Church Choir and belonged to the Bowling Club. I have many fond memories of both your parents and of you as a little girl at the store and in Sunday School. Cherish your memories of all the good times you had together.

My sincere condolences to Wendy and Family. I first met Bunny when we moved to Bolton in 1976 and was a frequent visitor at her shop. She was wonderful lady and so kind. I will always remember the Palgrave Turkey Dinners. She somehow managed to save a piece of rhubarb pie for my late husband. It was his favourite. Thank you again dear lady and may you rest in peace.

Dear Wendy and Family
My memories of growing up in the Palgrave community include of course the General Store but mostly the church. Bunny was so prominent in the life of Palgrave United Church and was a good friend to my dad Bob and step-mom Barb. Your mom had the best laugh and the best nickname! Heaven has been waiting for this special lady.

Dear Wendy and Chris and family,
So sorry about your loss. Her presence was large. She cared so deeply for everyone and definitely made a difference to all those around her. She regularly sent me pictures of her growing family, so even though I lived elsewhere, I was always a part of her life. The void I feel is tremendous.
Be comforted by her memories.

Wendy and family. It is with heavy heart that I just learned of the passing of my friend Bunny. We talked a lot before I had health issues and really was not calling anyone. Called the home and all the said was she didn’t live there anymore. Did some digging and saw the obituary. When we talked she always talked about all the family and how proud she was. Hugs Wendy
