Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Brenda Lynn Hollern passed away at her home in Caledon on Friday July 6, 2018 at the age of 58, following a courageous and brave battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 34 years to Martin Hollern. Loving mother of Kerry and her husband Alex Nordheimer, Amanda and Michael. Cherished Nanny of Harper and Owen Nordheimer. Dear daughter of Hazel and the late Osmond Harris and sister of the late Gloria Harris. Brenda is fondly remembered by her many friends and family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Saint Elizabeth Health Care’s nursing staff, especially Tamara, for their compassionate care of Brenda during the last two and a half years.
As per Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Caledon Woods Golf Club, 15608 Hwy 50, Bolton on July 21, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in Brenda’s name to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake Regional Health Centre, 596 Davis Drive, Newmarket L3Y 2P9.
