Brian Singleton

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Brian G. Singleton, formerly of Caledon, on Saturday, August 8, 2009.  He will be forever missed by his loving partner Doreen Young, and his children Melissa and her husband Gary Cooper, Marnie Singleton, Jared and his wife Shannon Singleton, step children Sandy and her husband Chad Critchley, Alana Young and her partner Lisa and grandchildren Bayley Cooper, Casey Singleton, Leah and Owen Critchley.  Big B or Pop, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed a lengthy career in the transportation business and was currently Vice President of Super-Shred and Onyx Fire Protection Services in Etobicoke.  We will all miss Brian, a humourous, proud Scotsman who was passionate about hockey, car racing, golf, BBQs, music and spending time with family and friends.    A celebration to honour Brian’s life will take place at Hillside Community Church, 2314 County Road 10, 1 km. north of Tottenham on Monday morning, August 17 at 11 o’clock.  If desired, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.  Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton (905-857-2213).  Condolences for the family may be offered at www.eganfuneralhome.com
