Dear Sue and Family,
It’s been about 3 years since I had the pleasure of serving Bruce his Ex at the Toby Jug. He always had a smile on his face as he chatted with his buddies. A very caring person as I saw in him with Bert.
Sue, I had the pleasure of serving you both when you met for lunch.
I just wanted to send you a small note to let you know that you’re in my thoughts and I send you my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

Unfortuntaly I am at a John Deere meeting in the USA and will not be back in time for the funeral Lorne Somerville

Bruce, although Ali and I haven’t known you long, you’ve left such an exuberant, honest, and deeply etched memory in both our hearts and our minds. You had a natural way of sharing your zest for love and life, and your devotion to your wife, your children and your grandchildren serve as the greatest examples of respect, reverence and joy we have ever been lucky enough to experience. For these reasons and more, you have not, and never will leave us.
To the Wilsons: our condolences and prayers are with you all.
Bruce, rest in peace.
Theresa Shakespeare-Shipp (AIM Controller)

Hi Charlie & Michelle,
I read about your father’s passing in the paper this weekend. I am very sorry for your loss. Although it has been over 30 years since I had seen your family, I always had fond memories of our time living across the street on Freemont Ave. Remembering touring your father’s station, riding a snowmobile or going out to help with landscaping in the truck, brings a smile to my face. I read that you both have families of your own. I hope they are doing well. God bless. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Sue & Family
Words alone cannot express our sympathy on the untimely death of your beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that he will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him.
No doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received since his parting has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you of how well-loved and liked he was.
I hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in knowing that he will be fondly remember as the person who was dearly loved by all.

Tony Van Der Valk
Dear Sue and the entire family
I just want to say on behalf of Marilyn and myself how sad we were to learn of Bruce’s passing. Unfortunately, I am in Whistler BC attending a national meeting and could not come back to be at the funeral. Marilyn will be there, and you know that I am there in spirit with you all.
When I think of Bruce, I think of a man who lived his life to the fullest, who believed in himself and his family, and who never let adversity hold him back. He would blush if he knew that I always thought of him as inspirational, a man to be emulated for his focus, his dedication to family and his ability to forge ahead in good times and bad. I will miss him dearly.
Since I heard of his death, the song by Frank Sinatara, MY WAY, has been playing in my head and I think it is a very fitting way to remember Bruce- a man who did it is his way.
Love and deepest sympathies
Tony
