After a short but aggressive battle with cancer, Christa Emilia Villard (73), beloved wife of the late Serge Paul Villard, passed away at Southlake Regional Health Center, Newmarket on Thursday, September 2, 2021.
Loving mother of Paul Villard and his wife Theresa Villard, Tina Villard and her husband Kenneth Camp, Charlie (Martin) Villard and his wife Cara Bartlett. Cherished grandmother of Abigail(19), Jakob(17), Alexa(13), Maximilian(11), Kennady(12), Brooke(9) and Zoe(5). Dear sister of Marlene Philibert and predeceased by brother Eric Feldl.
Christa was an accomplished baker, dumpling maker, gardener and great listening ear to family and friends. For over 30 years she enjoyed working in the banking industry with the CIBC and the RBC as the Branch Operations Manager in Kleinburg. Recently her love for Missy, her miniature schnoodle, brought comfort and happiness in her last year.
The family extends their deep gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Southlake Regional Health Centre in the Cancer Centre for their kindness, compassion and joviality during this very difficult time.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Covenant House.

Sincere sympathy to Christa’s family. We enjoyed her and Serge in the Cedar Mills bridge group many years ago. Christa was always welcoming when we met in the years when we lived on Palmer Circle. Our children played with Charlie, Paul and Tina.

Paul, Tina, Charlie,
It is with sadness that I read of Christa’s passing. For many years, I was one of the Cedar Mills group and that is, of course, how I knew Christa. We met in the mid 70’s when we were out walking (pushing a stroller or carriage I think). I remember Christa working at the Royal Bank in Bolton. Rest In Peace Christa! I was shocked and saddened to see this news. Your mom was a second mom to me in high school and I’ll never forget the sound of her laugh, the size of that smile and the humour she shared. May all the memories of the positive impact she had on all of us give you peace at this difficult time.
Many thoughts and sincere sympathy
