Dear Pat:
I can’t tell you how shocked I was to see the sad news about Alf. The last time I talked to you was about four years ago when Norm and Mary Zimmerman were having their sixtieth wedding anniversary. At that time you said your health was not good but Alf was fine. I hope you are able to manage and I am sincerely sorry about your loss. I often mention Alf and Norm to Gordon and he says the names are familiar but he can’t picture them. This getting old hasn’t got much going for it. Give my condolences and good wishes to Don and Doug and their families.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Alf. I think he used to come to our farm and get hay. My dad, Bevan, knew him also. Dad passed away just over a year ago.
Alf was a wonderful kind man. He will missed by all who loved him.
Sincerely Alberta and Shirley Howes.
