On Sunday, January 26, 2014, after a year long courageous battle with cancer, “Coop” passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Beth Cooper and proud father of Kathe and her husband Craig Allan, Jennifer Brimner (deceased), Scott and his wife Amy Cooper. Doting grandfather of Shannen, Erika, Owen, Jordan, Benjamin, Andrew and Mara. Cherished brother of Wilma and her husband Al Chia and brother-in-law of Marg and her husband Joe Wojtowicz. Fondly remembered by his niece and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Wednesday evening from 5 – 7 o’clock and on Thursday morning, January 30, from 10 o’clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
Spring interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1200 Aerowood Dr, Mississauga, ONL4W 1Y5 or to the charity of your choice.
