Our thoughts have been with you constantly through Colin’s illness and especially now he has passed away. He was a very special person and although we are thousands of miles away he was always game for a laugh on the phone. He always had a chuckle when Shirl called him her special ‘boring old fart’. Sadly we are unable to be there this week to help Toots and the family through this sad time. Love to you all. Shirl and Bill x

Dolores and Family: We are so sad to hear of Colin’s passing – Edward remembered working with Colin way back when at Rexnord (about 28 years ago) and Dolores I fondly remember working with you at MOHLTC…it’s a small world that you and I should meet and find out that our husbands worked together. I remember too our journeys on the good old TTC going home at night and the time we met Gavin all covered in snow…it was quite funny, one of those cases where you had to be there. May this little funny memory bring you a small smile at this very sad time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Take care.

Dearest Tuttu, Roger and Gavin,
It was with great sadness that we heard of Colin’s death. With all his suffering and the way he tried to deal with it, he was quite amazing.
More recently, when we were talking with him in hospital, he was struggling to breathe and must feel a release from his terrible discomfort.
I know you wanted him to be with you all forever, but this was not to be. His love and kindness will linger in your hearts and memories forever. You will never be alone because he will watch over you always.
I can never forget how you took me into your home in London and loved and cared for me when I was a teenager. We had lots of fun and happy times together both in England and Canada.
Colin was a very sweet and gentle person who will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.
Thinking of you all and sending you the biggest hugs and loves and praying that you will find peace in the time to come.
Fondest Love
from Brenda, Michael and Family. xxxx

Dear Tuttu, Roger and Family, and Gavin
As each day passes we keep thinking of the wonderful time we spent with both of you in Sept 2012. In spite of Colin’s illness, we would go out and enjoy ourselves with Colin driving us around. Unfortnuately, our expectation that he would be well soon and both of you spend a holiday with us in our Summer, was not to be. Rest in peace my dear friend and to all of you left behind to relive the memory of a wonderful guy, our deepest sympathies.
Kevin and Deidre.

Dear, Toots, Roger and Gav, We would like to extend our deepest condolences to you on this very sad occasion, but hope that you get some strenght from the fact that Uncle Colin is now free of pain, and worry and the stress from ill health. You guys need to be strong for each other knowing that in fact there is a wider family network who do care for you and are interested in your well being. Dont be afraid to draw strenght from the blessings of having a diverse and broad group of people who are related to you. There ae many in similar situations who have virtually no one to turn to.
Rest in Peace Buddah.
Amber, Roy and the Moreira family
