Dear Joan
It is with deep sadness and regret that Joan and I learned of the passing of your dear husband Clark, who I have known and held in the highest regard since the days we went to school together at the little red school house in Richview. Clark was a proud and highly successful farmer and gained great respect from his peers in the community and others he touched. He always conducted himself with professionalism, integrity, good conscience and extraordinary good will. Above all I respected him most for the decent family man and kind human being he was. Joan and I wish to express our sincere condolences at this time of sadness and loss to you and your family. Wig and Joan

Dear Joan, We learned of Clark’s passing just this morning when we went to the Extended Learning lecture in Erin Legion. In her opening, the president, Jackie Turbitt, said that Clark was one of the first people she got to know when she began attending this lecture series. Many of those in attendance would know Clark. He was so friendly, was a real gentleman, and had such a genuine interest in people. We will really miss him.
