One of my first memories of Dave was when he hired me to mow the lawn at your first home in Bolton. Some of the moments later in lifes journey were sad, Dave helped me a lot. Dave was a true friend.

I can’t recall the many times I told Dave he was like a cat with nine lives……he was a true survivor through his many trials and tribulations with health issues! A smile aways comes to my mind when I think of Dave as he aways had a one liner that was meant to have some sort of shock value and a wack of humor attached to it!!!!!!! He just loved seeing what impact his comment would have…..he will sure be great entertainment for all his buddies in heaven.
We are sure going to miss you Davey!!!
Lots of good thoughts to you Connie……I know you will feel like you have lost your right arm with the loss of your soul mate. To Lee, David and Randy….your Dad had one of biggest hearts ever and I know he loved you all dearly.

Hello.
I am trying to find a lady by the name of Connie Vanstone. She was a poster master at wasaga beach and retired in 2006 and had a dog named bear. My mother recently passed away and they were friends. If I have the right lady could you please email me with her number so as I may reach her. If this is the wrong person I am very sorry
Jackie Thompson
I am so very sorry to learn of Dave’s passing. First knew Dave when he was about sixteen and he and his Mom lived at the corner of Millard and Church Streets in Newmarket. He and my sister were friends. Dave called a year or so ago…just to “catch up” he said…had been a long, long time. We promised to keep in touch…but as so often happens…time goes by…….
I will always remember the “teen-age boy”…and the “man” who told me when we talked, how he’d fell in love with Connie…and about the family they had raised together. Rest in peace, my friend.
Jackie (Thompson)
