Kim, Russell and Kevin,
Your mom was a lovely lady who I first met in 1976 when Kim invited me home for lunch from high school.
She was always friendly and upbeat- curious and funny!
So sorry to hear of her recent decline and passing.
Condolences to you and her extended family at this difficult time of year.
Love,

Russell, Kevin , and Kim , . .The loss of your Mother is absolutely heart wrenching , and I can appreciate how you are feeling right now, as it seems like yesterday I felt this on my own skin . Lean on those around you for Comfort and tell the stories often. There are so many. Your Mother was a Joy and a “Firecracker” of fun. Always direct, a glass of wine, and laughter. It seems Dianne was never happier than being with a good measure of Family and Friends. My personal story of coming to Ontario at the age of 23 . and spending my first Christmas with Diane and Uncle Bill and Kevin at the House on Hockely Valley. They made me feel so welcome and loved. – and I even received a Dungeons and Dragon’s tutorial from Kevin. Kim your house on Folkway was the same ( and Stephen and I were inspired to move to this beautiful area too!) , and Russell – of course all the good times and antics we shared at the House “on the line” together. I was driving home the other night and what should pop up on the radio – her favourite ….. “Unforgettable” . How appropriate.

PART DEUX – Mary – Sue , Bob, Krista , and Scott – It is evident how fond you are of Dianne . More Family to Love – and she certainly made your Dad/ Uncle Bill so buoyantly Happy . It was clear to me , Dianne’s welfare was always top of your mind. And it was always fun to have her at the Head of the Table for all the Celebrations in your lovely Home. Krista and Scott , I am so sorry you will sadly miss your Gramma. Thank you for always including Stephen and me in these wonderful Birthdays and Celebrations. We loved having all these opportunities to be with Dianne, and I am only sorry time and distance seemed to step in the way of the intent to journey to Orangeville to see her more often. A lesson indeed to rethink and treasure the Good People in our Lives. Much love, from your Cousins
