Judith. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband. And please excuse this means of correspondence. If your mother, Grace, had a brother who was killed during WW II, I would like to get in touch with you. I am the widow of the late nephew of the late Martha Pennel who was married to H. Allen Pennell. I have some pictures and other objects that could be meaningful to your family. Please contact me by e-mail if you are related to the late Allen Pennell. It is a coincidence that I use my middle name, Avalon. I have seen on researching the internet that your mother lived her final years at a nursing home of the same name.
