We are still very much in shock at the sudden loss of big brother Don. We will be missing so much of what he brought to this family in the days and years ahead. The holes in our hearts are filled with many loving memories and our sadness in of coping with those times ahead when he can not be with us to share morning coffee at the beach, his annual August “rib-fest” and other family gatherings. Our hearts go out to Audrey, Janice, Matt and Nathan. Love Always, Bob, Judy, Brittany, Evan, Lauren, Ryder and Paxton

I met Don through his daughter, Janice. Don was my accountant for over ten years, and during that time he guided me in my first steps as a business owner. But more importantly, he was a warm, funny, and enthusiastic person that was eager to help at a moment’s notice. Don used to put a lot passion and drive on every project he took on, and it showed. His family, his dedication to the Legion and veterans in general, and all his business customers, are all better people for having met Don. I will miss him quite a lot, and send Audrey, Janice, Matt and Nathan my deepest condolences.

It was indeed a pleasure serving as a Director of the Juno Beach Centre Association with Don, and having him and his dad Ross (a D-Day Artilleryman) support our efforts. They made quite a team, especially at the annual Weston Golf and Country Club fundraiser. My deepest condolences to Audrey and all of Don’s family. He was far too young to have left us, but his memory lives on and we thank him for his dedication, enthusiasm and hard work with the Juno Beach Centre.
