You were a good friend to my brother Tom.

I worked with Donnie at Wrens’ wrought iron, shy and quiet and always interesting.
We had many conversations about Nova Scotia.

Don was a very quiet man who was a master with wrought iron, and could repair almost anything mechanical or electrical. He would visit the Brampton Train show, and always stopped for a friendly chat. Pest in peace Don.

We were the Parsons neighbours for 20 years and have many fun memories of their kindness. My brothers and I were always losing our baseball or soccer ball over the fence into their backyard. Mrs. Parsons had quite kick when she sent the soccer ball back and Donald had quite the arm when returning the baseball.
Their vegetable garden that they looked after with love was like no other (probably perturbed them when our misplaced ball landed in the middle of it) and they graciously shared their harvested crops with my Mom every year.
I will always remember Donald’s bike/s that he always tinkered with and then would ride off on down the street.
Rest in peace and thank you for being such a wonderful part of our childhood memories.
