Peacefully at King Nursing Home, Bolton on Sunday, September 15, 2019, Donald Shoemaker, in his 92nd year, beloved husband of the late Mabel Hitchin and Joan Wyse. Loving father of Charles and his wife Joan of Madison, Wisconsin; John and his wife Debbie of Westlock, Alberta. Cherished grandfather of Kenji, Austin, Christopher, and Susan. Dear brother of Norman, of Burlington; Alfred, of Brighton. Fondly remembered by his niece Dianne and her husband Ed Schneider, Bobcaygeon.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday evening 5 – 8 o’clock.
Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Friday morning, September 20 at 10 o’clock. (leaving funeral home at 9:45 a.m.).
Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge.
