Debbie and family, my deepest condolences on your loss.
Unfortunately I have to work on Friday or I would be there to help you celebrate Doris, and a life well lived.

Doris was always a beloved member of Nobleton United. It was so great to see her 3 years ago celebrating her 100th birthday with her friend and sister-in-law Annie Hill who was also celebrating her 100th. I enjoyed taking the church’s newsletter to her when she was living in the Seniors’ apartments in Nobleton. She was always friendly and full of interesting news.

I have many fond memories of both your parents, Deb ❤️ As a child, they were always so welcoming and I admired how beautifully well kept your home was. Their values of family, friends and community were well evident. One memory that resonates with me is how comforting it was to see your parents sitting on the front porch most summer evenings and greeting whom ever passed by. It represented to me that all was right with the world. At this time, I know you and your family will feel blessed with your memories of your mom.

My deepest condolence on the passing of your mother.
I will always remember her and Annie Hill coming to my sister’s funeral in 1999. It was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. My memory of your Mom is of a woman who was very kind hearted and appeared to always be smiling.
What a joy and blessing to have had her with you for so long.

Doris was a very special person. I feel blessed to have known Doris since my high school days in the 50s when Marilyn & I were friends. My thoughts are with the family at this time.

What an amazing journey Doris had. I was glad to see her and Annie at their 100th and so many other old neighbours from, the hood. Between Doris and Percy, Oliver and Lydia Emerson, we little buggers were well looked after, it truly was the original Neighborhood Watch, We have so many cherished memories of them.
