Suddenly passed away at his home, Nobleton, on Friday, October 21, 2011, Ross Douglas, in his 75th year, beloved husband of the late Lois Douglas (May 2011). Father of Alan (deceased), Clifford, Jack and Allison, Val and Bill Tamo. Proud grandfather of Jacqueline and Julia Tamo, Cody and Kayla Douglas and Billy Douglas. Step father of Pat and Nick Swirla, Jan and Bill Hilliard, Ron and Bea Sloan. Step grandfather of Mark and Kasia Swirla, Erin, Ryan and Melissa Swirla. Fondly remembered by 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Kenneth (deceased) Douglas, Dave and Barb Douglas, Carol Baker, Ralph and Elizabeth Douglas.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive their friends at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 5750 King Road, Nobleton on Saturday morning, October 29 from 9:30 until time of memorial service at 11 o’clock.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
