I don’t know what to say beyond I am so sorry. Ted was such an important part of the MacKinnon family for so many years…and then we lost contact…the fun and laughter we shared…his support…Candy with her big feet….Lady delivering her colt when I was home by myself and needing to call him home …oh the memories. He’ll always be in his 30 s in my memories.

Oh my goodness…………….I am so sad to read this. I was just talking about Ted last week 🙁 and thinking how long it’s been since I last saw him. He was like a big brother to me and had my back on several occasions!! What a great guy. We shared many laughes together and he was a huge part of my childhood memories on the farm with the horses. Rest in peace Ted – you’re forever in my heart. xoxo

I hadn’t seen Ted for about 5 years, but when I did he still looked the same as he did back in our high school and Kleinburg years. It sure is a shock to hear of his passing. I know that he will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was such a nice guy and that laugh of his will never be forgotten.
My deepest sympathy to the Ellis Family. Please hang on to the good times and all the memories of
Ted and he will be with you forever.
Love

One of the best memories I have of Ted is when he road his horse from north of Bolton down to Bolton south to press the horses nose against my kitchen window to scare the crap out Debbie. Debbie and I had not been in our first house for very long and this was Ted welcoming us to the neighbourhood.
When I think of this it reminds me of all of the “Kleinburg Pig Party’s ” he used to help organize. He will be missed not only by Debbie and I, but from so many of his friends and the Ellis family for this was “HIS FAMILY” . Our condolences to the Ellis family………….Ted……you left a mark with so many people.

I’m so saddened by Ted’s passing. He and I worked together for 12 years and Sunset and he and I had many great conversations in the pits during the racing season. I will never forget how encouraging he was. The race track this year will not be the same. We will miss him dearly!

My condolences to the Ellis family. I will always remember Ted for his endless hours in the garage building stock cars (even made time to rebuild my first car), the pride he took in his beautiful gardens around the house, his obsession with peanut butter sandwiches, and Christmas mornings at the Ellis’. Always opening their doors with so much love.
Ted had a big heart! Rest in piece my friend. You will never be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences to the Ellis family and all of Ted’s closest friends. There was a time that Ted was an integral part of our family too. I will always remember him as the nicest person one could know… always ready to help out in any way he could. Unfortunately Its been a number of years since we saw him, we had no idea that he had Parkinson’s.
May he rest in peace.

When I think of Ted I visualize a huge smile, and the fact that he reminded me of Phil Collins.
Sending hugs and love to the Ellis clan who will forever miss him.

The first time I met Ted, he and Jennifer and I went out to play pool. Can’t remember where but I know we had a good time even though I would have lost. I always enjoyed catching up with Ted at the various Ellis family events over the years and was saddened to hear of his health problems and his untimely passing.
Ted will be greatly missed as the “adopted” Ellis brother. Sending my deepest condolences to all the Ellis family, and especially a huge hug to Jennifer. I am so sorry I can’t be there for you tomorrow. Thinking of you all.
