Ted, we were heart broken to hear the news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this difficult time. May your fond memories bring you some comfort. Liz’s spirit and kindness lives in the gardens you built together and the animals she cared for. Those bunnies and deer are pretty spoiled out there. The plants she split and shared with many continue to grow and remind us everyday what a beautiful person she was.Thinking of you. Jenn and Dave

Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
New-made friendships, like new wine,
Age will mellow and refine.
Friendships that have stood the test –
Time and change – are surely best;
Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray;
Friendship never knows decay.
For ’mid old friends, tried and true,
Once more we our youth renew.
But old friends, alas! may die;
New friends must their place supply.
Cherish friendship in your breast –
New is good, but old is best;
Make new friends, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. It was with great sadness that I read of Liz’s passing.
I am a PFC colleague of Liz’s working out of our office in Nova Scotia. When I first joined the organization 19+ years ago, Liz was my “go to” person for everything! I could always rely on her to help me out, with more than just a little bit of humour and sarcasm thrown in for good measure! I eventually moved out of the sales area and had less direct contact with Liz, but we would catch up a couple of times a year. Funny, I only met her in person once in all these years, when I was in our Mississauga office shortly before she became ill.
I always appreciated her quick wit and forthrightness. She wasn’t afraid to call a spade a spade, but you knew that she always had your back.
I am so sorry for your loss. Praying for friends to comfort you, faith to uphold you, and loving memories to heal your heart.
Sincerely,
Martha Marchand

Liz and I worked together our entire careers at PepsiCo. She was always one step ahead, anticipating and going the extra distance to get the job done. She kept us in line with her sharp and friendly interpersonal and leadership skills and always had time to reflect fondly on all the good times…with which she had the photo records to validate! She was a very special person and will be missed tremendously.

You’ve gone too soon, Madame! Your grace and kindness, your beautiful smile and your heart of gold, your ability to calm the ‘troops’ during the most chaotic circumstances – we’re going to miss all of these things. For over 30 years Liz played a critical role in our business and supporting and partnering with our people. Liz models the term “cherishing others”. For her years at PepsiCo, she made it her mission to help and support others and she did it with clear passion.
For me, I am going to miss our chats. Whether it was the small town connection (Chatham / Blenheim) or the topic of the day, I will never forget those moments.
Her PepsiCo family is cherishing our memories of Liz and reflecting on how we can ensure we continue her legacy.

My sincerest condolences to her family and friends. May you find refuge in the “God of all comfort ” as you continue to feel his love and support during this very difficult time.

Ted and family, my deepest condolences, my thoughts are with you.
Liz was a very special person to so many people. Her compassion and kindness towards others, her straight up candid personality, and her vibrant outfits at work are all things that will be missed, and lets not forget the “100” pairs of heels she had, to make sure she was fashionably covered for every occasion.
Personally, I am extremely thankful for the strength, the knowledge, the lectures and the encouragement that she shared with me and provided during her battle with cancer. Our phone call chats and frequent emails during this time truly meant the world to me.
David & Cynthia Corks
We always think of Liz as part of the wonderful gatherings at Lyanne and Freds place on Fourth Line.
She was always so friendly, vibrant and relaxed during these times and we will treasure these memories.

Like many others here at PepsiCo Foods Canada, my heart is broken.
Liz was a great friend and colleague to me throughout her 30 years with the company and I already miss her tremendously. I will miss her sense of humor, kind nature, and helpful attitude. I remember the earlier years when we had to do some travelling together for meetings / conferences. We had lots of late night chats after long busy days and shared many, many fits of giggles about nothing and everything. We had so many fun times together.
I fondly remember our first dinner together in Streetsville years ago, when I convinced her to transfer from Field Sales to HQ. So glad she accepted as we became good friends from working closer on a daily basis. She was a treasured friend, indeed and will be missed by myself and everyone at PFC. Rest in Peace dearest Liz.
My deepest condolences to Ted, Lyanne and the entire family. I hope happy memories of Liz help comfort you at this difficult time. Sending my thoughts and prayers.

We are so very sorry to hear of Liz’s passing. Although we didn’t see each other often when we did get together she was always so pleasant to be around. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a great smile!

I was deeply saddened to learn of Liz’s passing. When I transferred to Ontario from Atlantic Canada 10 years ago, Liz was my go-to for so many things. I have Liz to thank for my amazing family physician, eye doctor and dentist. I admired how she made everything effortless even when you knew it wasn’t. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Deepest sympathy to all her loved ones.
Betty Renner
Dear Ted, Lyanne and all of Liz’s family and friends..
May you take comfort in knowing that Liz was loved, respected and appreciated by all who knew her – both professionally and personally.
She had a ready smile, wicked sense of humour, and a work ethic surpassed by none.
After I retired, Liz would always let me know when Nine West was having a sale. To recognize our mutual love of ‘stillettos’ we each have a red stilletto on a shelf. I will always remember Liz, will keep her in my heart, and will miss our shopping excursions to the ‘consignment stores’ searching for that elusive ‘one-of-a-kind’ outfit.
RIP Liz! You left us far too early
Hugs

Liz was a great colleague and an amazing friend…always willing to lend a helping hand. She “taught me the ropes” when I joined Frito Lay 18 years ago. She was fun to work with – will miss her sense of humor & our chats. No one is ever prepared for a loss such as this…but rest assured, Liz has touched our lives and happy memories of time spent together will last forever. My thoughts and prayers are with Ted and the entire family. Rest in Peace dear Liz.

My deepest sympathy for Ted and family.
Although I’m retired now from Pepsico. I have known Liz for over 30 years, and am proud to say that I was part of “Liz and her gang of girls” (you know who you are). While Liz was going through this incredible journey, she formed a group called the “Breakfast Club” through Messenger. This ingenious communication opportunity kept us informed on how she was doing during her many cancer treatments. It brought us comfort and a sense of closeness and an opportunity to be with her every step of the way. She did this with humour, courage and grace and I will always remember her incredible strength during this very difficult time. I also remember the many chats, laughter and gatherings we had over the 30 years of working together.
Liz my darling, you will be terribly missed and will be in all our hearts for years to come. And whenever I buy a new purse, I will think of you… cause you will be looking down and checking in. I just know it! Carole

Norma Khouri
My deepest condolences to Ted and the family.
I will always hold a special place for Liz in my heart. Liz was a beautiful, strong, and inspiring lady, who was loved by everyone. I am grateful and thankful for the time Liz spent with me during my onboarding at PepsiCo. She took me under her wings, and walked me through every detail to make sure I am well equipped and ready for success. Liz used to decorate my desk with beautiful bouquets of flowers from her garden (she loved her garden), “freshly cut especially for you”, she used to say. I will never forget her hospitality, thoughtfulness, and generosity. She was a special Lady!
My thoughts and prayers are with Ted and the family.
Rest in peace my friend.

Liz was a dear friend and partner in crime over many years together at PepsiCo. There were many smiles, some occasional light swearing, and more laughs than I can count. While our hearts are heavy, when we think of Liz I know that each of us can’t help but smile at the memories of time spent with a kind, wonderful person. Safe travels my friend!

Our sadness is only tempered by the knowledge she is finally at peace after a long struggle. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I had the good fortune of being greeted by Liz when i walked into Hostess Frito Lay for an interview in 1994. Over the next 24 years Liz always greeted me with that same warmth, a beautiful smile and some type of ‘wise crack’.
I always enjoyed our conversations, her sense of humour, her sincerity and most of all our friendship.
My thoughts and deepest condolences are with Ted and Liz’s family.

Knowing
Grief has its rhythm, first the wild, swift tide of dark despair;
the time of bleak aloneness when even the soul is not there.
Then slowly the dark clouds recede, the sea becomes calm, quiet
and bare washed sand is everywhere, where familiar foot prints of one so dear used to be.
Errant thoughts of past come and go like lapping waves upon a shore.
And then, the pearl-lined shells of memories appear to help us smile again.
Jill Nulle
Ted, Lyanne and family,
So very, very sorry about Liz’s passing.
I worked with Liz for 20+ years and will truly, truly miss her. She had a great smile, sense of humour and very fashionable – she could wear anything and look great! She also had the talent of being able to fix anything for anyone at anytime, thanks to her trusty drawer of tools. She had everything…hammer, tape measure, sewing kit, static spray and a screwdriver and screws to fix glasses (mine!).
I will miss our chats and cranberries at Christmas, but most of all I will really miss her. I will treasure the many memories and laughs and hope you find comfort knowing that she was well liked and respected by many.
RIP Lizard
Kaitlin (Maughan) & Ryan Dickinson
We are both extremely sad to hear of Liz’s passing.
Like so many others who have passed through the PepsiCo Family, Liz was one of our first and best relationships. She was even quite invested in our relationship (especially in the early stages). So much so, that we couldn’t imagine our wedding without her. Liz showed up early with a special surprise, of course, creating customized cocktail napkins for our reception with her handy embossing tool. A tool she gifted to us, which we use each year when sending Christmas cards.
We will miss her chats, her humour, and her incredible wealth of life-hack advice.
I (Kaitlin) think of Liz every time I plan a sales meeting or corporate event, knowing that I learned from the best.
Our condolences to Ted and Family. Liz will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Ted & Liz’s family. In a galaxy of bright stars, Liz often shined brightest. Strong, confident, sarcastic, and straight to the point – she had no time for BS, and plenty of time for laughter. You’ll be missed, but most definitely not forgotten. Rest easy my friend!

I was very sad to hear the news. Since I met Liz at PepsiCo 8 years ago, she has always been a great friend and confidant. I could always count on her to be there, whether it be to lend an ear, provide honest and wise advice, or just to laugh about life…I will miss our chats and lunches. Like everyone else, I miss Liz dearly. She had so much spunk, sensibility and integrity. She was truly a special person and I am so honoured to have known Liz as a friend. RIP Liz.
Sheri Morgan
Liz was a wonderful lady and I feel lucky to have had the chance to call her a colleague. She was always ready with her quick wit and loved a good shoe shopping conversation. Her presence has been missed and we send our deepest condolences to her family.

Saying goodbye to a great friend is one of the most difficult things to do , as tears fill my eyes with sadness and disbelief that Liz is in Gods hands now. She was special always, brilliantly positive, and a heart of gold. Her constant will to give and help look out for the well being of all others. Liz was definetely the hardest working lady I have ever met! No joke! Cutting the grass alone is a full time job, after her full time day job. Helping maintain her gardens, helping drag bush, chipping or splitting wood etc!! Whatever needed to be done she didn’t hesitate to jump right in! The guys would have a hard time keeping up with her. Liz! I will miss you tremendously. I promise to be there and look out for Ted. We are going to need each other around the house because of your absence, but I know you will be looking down on us. My deepest condolences to you Ted and to all of your family. I am extremely sorry for your loss of such a great lady.

My deepest condolences to Ted and Liz’s family. Always with a smile on her face, confident, smart and could make me laugh. That didn’t change over the 25+ years that I’ve been lucky enough to know her. We didn’t get a chance to get together for that beer date… the next one is for you Lizard. You’ll be missed.

TED AND FAMILY: SINCERE CONDOLEANCES . LIZ’S LIFE WAS CUT TOO SHORT BUT WE ARE COMFORTED THAT SHE IS NOW IN A BETTER PLACE . FOR 30 YEARS, SHE GRACED OUR OFFICE WITH HER ELEGANT PRESENCE. SHE SET AN EXEMPLE FOR PROFESSIONALISM AND DEDICATION FOR ALL THOSE SHE TOUCHED…THROUGH THE GOOD AND NOT SO GOOD TIMES. LIZ AND I WORKED CLOSELY TOGETHER FOR 4 OF THOSE YEARS AND I COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON HER TO DELIVER GREAT WORK…BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY TO BE A REMARKABLE AMBASSADOR FOR THE COMPANY AND ME PERSONALLY. HER LOYALTY WAS ALWAYS BEYOND QUESTION. HER SENSE OF HUMOUR AND GENUINE CARE FOR OTHERS TOUCHED ALL THOSE SHE WORKED WITH IN A SPECIAL WAY. SHE WILL BE MISSED BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Liz, I miss you dearly. I can’t thank you enough for being so wonderful to me from the day we met over 18 years ago. Your incredible support both personally and professionally will never be forgotten. I will treasure our chats and laughs forever.

Ted & Family: I’m yet another one of the PepsiCo people that had the fortunate opportunity to work alongside Liz for over fifteen years. It didn’t matter if I was working in the West, or in the office next to her, she always had time for me. She knew how to look after people & support them whenever needed. Her organizational skills & professionalism were the qualities that I most admired from a working relationship. Her passion for life, family & your shared property are some of the great qualities on a personal level to which I try and replicate myself. Liz, you will be missed by MANY. Keep shining. You are forever in my thoughts.

Ted, Lyanne and Families,
I have known Liz for 29 years and she was one of the most funny, loving, honest, sincere and friendly person that you could ever meet. She would always drop what she was doing to lend a hand – no matter who needed it. One thing that Liz WAS NOT… was a number lover… She hated numbers – she especially despised MyBuy! Liz was loved and respected by so many people. I for one am so happy to have had Liz in my life and will miss her deeply. Ted and Lyanne, my heart aches for your families. Liz, when I look to the sky on sunny days especially, I know that you are watching over us. Liz, Chin Up until we meet again! Deepest Condolences!
When someone you love becomes a memory,
the memory becomes a Treasure!
Robin Bierman
Liz is very much missed here at PepsiCo. I miss her wit, smiling face and definitely her sense of fashion every time I walk up the hall past where she sat. Liz taught me to wear earphones at work, hold my chin up regardless of how I was feeling and appreciate every bit of life we get. She was a truly special woman and I’m deeply saddened that I won’t see her again during my lifetime. But I know she’s watching over all of us and smiling with us and for us when we cannot.
Robin
