Passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Monday, the 17th day of September, 2012, Ellen Marjorie Bedford, at the age of 72 years, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Ellen is survived by Fred, her loving husband of almost 54 years. Devoted mother to her daughters, Laurie (Bob Pietras) and Karen, and her son, Steven. Wonderful Granny to Emily, Marcus and Marina. Predeceased by her parents, Jessie and Gordon Baker and her eldest brother, Albert Baker and his wife Jean. Survived by her brother Roger and his wife Lillian Baker. Cherished sister-in-law of Jim and his wife Eileen Hammill.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Thursday morning, September 20 from 10:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 noon.
Reception following at Caledon Seniors Centre at Rotary Place, 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton.
Private interment for immediate family will be held later.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 26331 Station BRM B, Toronto M7Y 4R1.
