My greatest condolences to all those who loved Faye. What a loss to all of us. I knew Faye in 1997 and 1999 as a gardener of her incredible English Formal Gardens. She hired me because of who I was and where my heart lay, not because of any fancy degree. Her pain got the best of her some days and others well the sky was no limit to what she could create!
Thanks for the opportunity Bob, Dana, and Andrew, you will never know how life changing my time with was. thank you, Faye 🙁
I have my own ” proper” gardens now as I finally achieved to buy my own house . I will always take Faye’s experience and wisdom on life, love and how to grow something beautiful despite the challenges and pains that life throws at a person.
May you all rest now, as the anniversary looms near. Gather close, and feel her love alive in you again this May. I will be doing the same for my mother as she died last may of pneumonia at 68 yrs.
Unfortunately, my mom was the only one in my family who was educated about my disability. I miss her terribally. I miss Faye too for her compassion and support. God bless you and those who remain left behind.
Long live Faye Scott’s memory!
Peace and God Bless,
Gill ( the one who was always sun burned!)
