The family of Fred Bedford sadly announces his passing on July 16, 2022 at the age of 85 years after a short battle with brain cancer. Fred is survived by his loving partner, June Gammon, and his three children, Laurie (Bob), Caren (Bruce) and Steven (Sienna). Fred was a devoted Grandpa to his four grandchildren, Emily, Marcus, Marina and Elizabeth. Predeceased by his cherished wife of 53 years, Ellen (2012), his parents, Catherine and Frederick Bedford and his three older brothers, Russell Bedford, Glenn Bedford and Jim Hammill. Many thanks to the professional and caring staff and volunteers at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Wednesday morning, July 20th from 10:30 until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:30.
Reception following at Caledon Seniors Centre at Rotary Place, 7 Rotarian Way, Bolton.
Private interment for immediate family will be held at a later date.
