Donned his bunker gear and answered his last alarm, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Brampton Civic Hospital, surrounded by his family, Gino De Amicis, at the age of 50 years, beloved husband of Mary De Amicis. Proud father of Matthew and Patrick. Cherished son of Oriente and Onelia De Amicis. Dear brother of Franco and his wife Catherine. Loving son-in-law of Andrew and Catherine Macintosh. Dear brother-in-law of Debbie and her husband Barry Zilinski, Michele Shaw, Michael and his wife Ann Lorenzo, Sharron Martin. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Monday afternoon 2 – 4 and evening 7 – 9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Tuesday morning, August 16 at 10 o’clock (leaving funeral home at 9:15 a.m.). Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Woodbridge. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Bethell Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 75 Stn Main, Inglewood L7C 3L6.
