Dear Jessica & Alexandra
Derek and I were so saddened by your Mom’s passing. Honestly, Gordana was such a great lady and I loved her. We had so many great times over the years and we always laughed. Sometimes it was just little things …picnics in the back yard at 345, coffee together while all you kids were playing. Other times it was outings… I remember Linda, your mom and I went to the theatre many, many years ago and I offered her gum before the play started. She hesitated and wasn’t sure if she should have it but finally put it in her mouth. Then she told me ” I will get interested in the play and will start to chew like a cow. Please elbow me so I can get rid of it” Another time I was on my way out and ran into your mom and she told me her car had been stolen. To make a long story short, she had driven home after a flight and stopped at the A&P. After she came out of the store she walked home. The next morning when her car wasn’t in her parking spot she called the police. As usual she was able to laugh at herself. What I will miss the most is the dinners/lunches Linda, your mom and I would have. We could sit for hours and talk, laugh, reminisce, joke and just plain enjoy each others company!
Please know we are thinking of you both and all the family.
Lots of Love, Lorraine & Derek

Gordana was a special lady. I had the privilege of knowing her as a colleague (we had lots of fun on our flights) and then as a friend.
She will always be in my heart.
Thinking of you, her family, during the difficult days ahead.

Dear Jessica and Alexandra,
My deepest sympathies to you and your children (and the rest of the family) your mom was the sweetest lady…she was always so kind and loving. It didn’t matter how much time had passed she hugged you like it was just yesterday. She always talked about her girls and her sweet little babies (grandkids). Her face would light up just mentioning their names. She loved to spend time at the cottage and was quite the DIY lady! I will never forget her kindness and lovely words. She was a true gem and I will miss her. I know she is with her mom and she will be with the two of you and your families always.
My love to you all,
Melissa Joe
