Peacefully, after a long and fulfilling life, at Avalon Care Centre, Orangeville on Thursday, April 3, 2003, Grace E. Pennell, beloved wife of the late Allan Evans, formerly of Oshawa. ﾠLoving and devoted mother to her daughter Judith and son-in-law Don Weir, Caledon East and to her son Dr. John Evans and daughter-in-law Lisa, San Antonio, Texas. ﾠProud and loving Nana to Judith and Don’s children Jeff, Gary, Nancy and to John & Lisa’s children Kristi, Cathryn, Karen and to her great-grandchildren Lowell, Cale, Holly, Dirk and Owen. ﾠA private service was held in the chapel at the Egan Funeral Home Baxter & Giles Chapel, 273 Broadway, Orangeville (519-941-2630 or www.eganfuneralhome.com) on Saturday, April 5 at 4 o’clock, followed by cremation. ﾠThe family would like to extend their warm appreciation to all the wonderful Avalon Care Centre staff who have helped so much to make the last three years, and particularly our Mom’s last months with us on her 94 year journey through life, a positive, loving time. ﾠﾠExpressions of sympathy to Headwaters Health Care Centre, 100 Rolling Hills Drive, Orangeville L9W 4X9 or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
