Graydon, Laurie and Glen;
During this difficult time we are all blessed with wonderful, heartwarming memories to help comfort us in our sorrow. Your mom taught us patience and love. She always had a smile and would offer a pleasant laugh and a willing ear. And any little one that entered the room would quickly make it into her arms. We were all together to watch the fireworks and it was rather upsetting to then, one-year old Allison. Grace quietly took her back into the house and comforted and played with her until the noises were no longer upsetting and her fear was replaced with giggles in Grace’s charge. Grace taught us that dessert first just made good sense and that spending time with people was important. Both your mom and dad held a special place in our hearts, we will be thinking of them both on Saturday.
