We have many wonderful memories of Keith over the years. Our remembrances began at the time of his apprenticeship at the Bolton Enterprise newspaper in 1942. Keith was just a lad of 15 years. He was eager to learn the printing trade and over the years became a valuable employee who was dedicated and loyal to his work. As a child, I spent many an hour watching Keith operate the linotype machine. He developed a skill that could not be surpassed along with hand type setting, preparing, printing, folding and mailing the Bolton newspaper. After his retirement, meeting this fine gentleman was always a happy reunion. I will miss Keith:s friendship, but will treasure our time together. Our sincere condolences to Bob, Pat, Jo-Anne, Jack and Lynne. May the memories that Keith left be a blessing to his family and friends. Christina and Ken Graham

One fond memory from working at the Bolton Enterprise with Keith. He had always enjoyed Mrs. Ruddick’s relish. The recipe was found, and Keith was so happy to enjoy his favourite relish once again.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Wallace family. Keith was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. But he was so much more. As well as being a great husband, dad, grandad, great grandad, etc. he was also a poet, an amazing story teller an amazing listener and a shoulder to lean on. Our family was so lucky to find and be welcomed by Keith and Doreen and the rest of the family. I still remember walking up to the house with John in the push chair for our first visit. Never did I think we would end up having such a wonderful relationship with your family. We have so many wonderful memories of the last 41 years, Keith and Doreen were a blessing to our family and they will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Love to all,
Ann and Tim and the entire Hawkins family.
