On Saturday, April 9, 2016, just one month after his 82nd birthday, Henry fell asleep peacefully bringing an end to his struggle with cancer. Beloved husband of Lynne Jefferson of Brampton for almost 30 years. Devoted father of Jennifer Peprnik (Dean Baillie) of Thornbury and Holly Grandy (Colin) of London. Proud Deda of Heather and Nick Grandy and Jordan Strimas. Will be forever remembered by his sister Irene and her husband David Kneeshaw (deceased April 7, 2016) of Bracebridge. Dear uncle of Daniel (Audrey) and their children Vincent, Antony and Nathan; Mark (Michelle) and their daughter Mia; and Timothy. Henry will be greatly missed by the Jefferson family and his many friends, especially his golfing buddy, Steve Harris. Special thanks to Dr. Bansal and staff at Sunnybrook Holland Orthopaedic and Arthritic Centre and all staff and volunteers at The Dorothy Ley Hospice for their wonderful care.
Cremation has taken place.
Henry loved golf so the family has decided to set aside a traditional funeral service in favour of a Celebration of Life to be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, 11742 Tenth Line, Georgetown at 2 o’clock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Dorothy Ley Hospice, 220 Sherway Drive, Toronto M9C 0A7 or a charity of your choice.

It is with a sad heart that we bid farewell to our good friend Henry . His amazing sense of humour and great passion for life made him a great joy to be around. His kindness and generosity allowed for many amazing golf trips and was the foundation for an abundance of fond memories. Dinners together were always a forum for golf stories untold. His ability to “find the best deal” made for great competition between him and Steven. They certainly made quite the team. Our thoughts are with you Lynne. Henry will be sadly missed.
