Ian Gray McEachern, 80, peacefully passed away with family by his side, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston.
Beloved husband of the late Marilyn, loving father of Marlene and Todd Smith, Peter and Annette, Sheri and Reid McBain, Mark and Ashlynn, Sadly missed by grandchildren Sydney, Hayley, Charlotte, Madison, Katrina, Graydon, Alexie and Chloe. Predeceased by his parents John and Margaret McEachern, his sister Ruth Groat, and survived by his sister Hazel-Ellen Armstrong. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and friends.
Join the family for a Celebration of Ian’s Life at Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street. S., (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Friday, June 30 from 1pm until time of service in the chapel at 2 o’clock, followed by refreshments.
Donations to Matthews House Hospice, 131 Wellington Street East, Alliston L9R 1G7, would be appreciated by the family.

When you bought a vehicle from Ian you always came back when you needed to replace your ride. All of our employees were like family. Ian’s smile was contagious. Sorry to hear about Ian’s passing, the McEachren family was always close with my family (Sharpe’s) when they lived on Bell Air Dr in Bolton.
Ian was always a character, lots of laughs and fun..maybe a few toddy’s along the way.
