Peacefully at Georgetown Hospital, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, Irene Mary McLeod, Caledon, in her 95th year, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Johnson. Loving mother of Linda and the late Elgin Armstrong, Georgetown. Proud grandmother of Ken and his wife Katie Armstrong. Dear great-grandmother of Oakley and Audrey. Sadly missed by her furry friend Jersey. Predeceased by her seven siblings.

It is a sad day with the passing of my last dear aunt. Aunt Irene was a big influence in my life & taught me at age 6 to
embroidery & play many games, especially checkers. She was a beautiful sewer & made the dresses for the bridesmaid
& flower girl ( that was me) for her brother Wallace’s wedding. She was an avid gardener & no one ever left without a
bag full of veggies. She lived to be the oldest in the family & she is going to be missed greatly. Thank you Linda for
keeping me posted on your mom’s final days.
