My most heartfelt condolences on the sudden passing of Jim. He, like his brother Mike, was a fixture in Caledon East when I was growing up. Always at the ball park, helping anyone with pitching practice that asked. Myself being one. Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

What great memories I still have of Jimmy Bell. Always up for a conversation and a laugh whether we talked cars or baseball.

I went to Caledon East public school with Jim and Michael. I was friends with both; Michael in particular covered my back a number of times. So long ago now. I remember flying down Airport Road in Jim’s car, a Chevy with 327 and 4 speed Hurst shifter. I am sure the needle was pegged at 120 mph. My family left Caledon East when I was 16 years of age. I cried not wanting to leave. Good friends and memories. Jim was a good man and his memory rests with me fondly. Please accept my belated condolences to family and friends. He will be missed.
