My cousin James will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by our family. We always enjoyed visiting with him at our cottage in Bancroft during summer vacation. Our sincere condolences to Douglas, Susan & Danny.

My sincerest condolences to the Laing family for their loss of James passing. He was the nicest guy and had a great sense of humour. I miss the many good times we all shared up at the cottage in Bancroft. He was the strongest swimmer I ever saw and he taught me many things those years while in his presence. He is in his eternal home right now in peace without pain and suffering. I take great consolation in knowing I’m a better person in this world for knowing James and learning from his fine example. It would be nice to hear from Douglas, Susan and Danny, all good people.

So many memories with summers spent in Bancroft at our cottages. Jimmy would take me fishing in “Mud Lake” and he never complained when he had to bait my hook or row the boat!
I also remember winters when we would go out on snowmobiles. I usually ended up sitting behind him. My cousin was always very patient with me no matter what I asked him to do. Even though I have not seen Jimmy for many years, he will always be part of my past and in my heart. My sincere sympathy goes out to Douglas, Susan, Danny, Brenda and his many friends.

We are saddened to hear of Jimmy’s passing. He was always kind and considerate to our family. We have many fond memories of Jimmy, having a laugh sailing with him during those long summer days on the lake and snowmobiling across the trails during the winter. He was a special man and he will not be forgotten.
With heartfelt condolences from our family to yours.
