Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Claire, and Ethan Gillespie, Sypher, and Jovie Leno, Corbin Gillespie. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I worked and socialized with Jamie in the mid 90’s. His commitment, integrity and big heart made him one of the better and more trustworthy police officers I ever worked with. One of the good guys. He leaves a great legacy, fit to be proud of. My sincere condolences.

My deepest Condolence for the Family, Jamie was an excellent person. Revelation 21 :4 And will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

I worked with Jamie for his first 10 years of policing in Kitchener. From day 1 he was one of the most upbeat people I had met, and i was sorry to see him leave for the OPP, but they were better for having him. He was a dedicated police officer, colleague and friend, and was part of the glue that held P3 together. I was overwhelmed sadness when I heard this news.
He will be deeply missed by all.
My sincere conditions to his family, friends and fellow officers.
