Thinking of you at this difficult time

Gord Darlene Arlene and Peter
While growing up in Bolton as youths and family friends, your mom and dad always opened their home to friends of Gordys. I will remeber your mom as a woman who made us all feel comfortable and welcome. I enjoyed our friendly banter about life in the early Bolton days. Gob bless all of you and may your mom fly with the angels on her next journey

Dear Arlene, Gord and family:
I was so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I have many, many fond memories of her from when we went on family vacations together or spent time at one another’s homes. What a coincidence that her and my mother passed away exactly on the same day, September 25th, thirty years apart.
May your many family memories be a comfort to you right now. She had a good life and is now with Bill. Wish at least one of us could have attended the funeral, but please know our thoughts will be with you tomorrow. Cathie Winterkorn

Arlene, Gordon and families:
My condolences to you and yours. I remember Jean as a young bride from Winnipeg living in the penthouse suite of Bolton.s Queen’s Hotel.. Jean had the honor of playing the national anthem at the first Bolton minor hockey father and son banquet in Bolton Town Hall in the mid 1950s. She was a wonderful lady who supported the Blue Bombers through think and thin. She was a booster of all her family and will be missed.
Bill Whitbread.

Friendly, fun-loving, and the life of the party – that is the way we remember Jean. Bill and Jean used to have a blast when they vacationed in Florida together with the Leavens, Egans, Hesps, and Boretsky’s. Our deepest condolences to her family.
