She lived with passion.
Loved fiercely.
A piece of abstract art in an age of shallow digital reproduction.
Booming and buzzing bundle of contradictions full of hidden resolution.
Dreamed dreams too ambitious to be diluted in conversation.
She desired a better life for her family.
And that is what they received from her hard working hands.
Educator, museum curator, and astronomer to her Grandson.
Roll model and life long mentor to her Daughter.
Compassionate listener. Intrigued conversant.
Penman to the stars when most learn to type before write.
She decorated beautiful Christmas trees.
Let no one pull the wool over her eyes.
Took no wooden nickels.
She did it all her way, a wonderful spirited way.
We should all be inspired to live with such fire.
On June 17th 2013 our lives began without her strong body.
But our lives carry on her spirit.
Love you.
Forever and always.
You’re our everything.

Heather and Craig,
I’m so sorry to hear Jeannie passed away. I have thought of her many times over the years since we were last together. Having first met her in St. Catharines and our paths crossing again in Toronto, I was truly blessed to have her as my friend.
She is missed and now just waiting for our paths to cross one more time.
Thinking of you.
