November 18, 1957 – August 25, 2021
It is with profound sadness the family of Jeffrey George Hladun of Caledon announce his sudden passing due to a heart attack on Wednesday, August 25 at home. Jeff is lovingly remembered by his parents, Ernest and Alexandra Hladun of Caledon East, sister Lorelie Hladun Weir of Alliston, nephews Shane Hladun (Stacy), Lowell and Cale Weir. Jeff is predeceased by his brother Darrell and Darrell’s daughter, Zarayza. Jeff leaves behind many longtime good friends. Jeff was our beloved Renaissance Man having varied interests throughout his lifetime; electric guitar, classic cars, painter of portraits and landscapes, winemaker, conservationist of forests and streams, fly fisherman, art lover, photographer, astronomer, world traveler, bicyclist, violin maker, gourmet, and Dad’s right-hand man. During the last several years Jeff became reacquainted with motorcycles and was a member of the Ducati Club. His last holiday in July was a motorcycle trip to Gaspe with his good friend Brian. Jeff was a student at Mayfield Secondary, attended Trinity College and received his MBA from Western University. Jeff lived life to the fullest and he would encourage us to do the same.
Cremation has taken place with a private family memorial to be held in October.

My sincere condolences to the Hladun family. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was a good friend throughout high school, and although we didn’t stay in touch in later years, whenever I met up with him in Bolton or at class reunions, it was always as though no time had passed and we would enjoy a good conversation, catching up with our lives. I have many memories of him and will always remember him as a gentle man, with a quirky smile and a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed by so many.

Our sincere condolences to the Hladun Family. Jeff will be sadly missed, but may all the good memories help you through this difficult time. George was so impressed with the craftsmanship when he rebuilt George’s guitar. May he rest in piece playing music with his friends.
Love always, Audrey, Dan, Rick, Doug, Jim, Ron and Families
