Dear Kitty, Scott and Ryan,
To know Jeff was to be drawn in by a person of genuine warmth, and kindness of spirit. The only thing brighter than his beautiful collection of Hawaiian shirts was his smile. Oh how he could make us laugh! What a guy. He will be so missed.
When John Lennon said “Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears.” I think he meant it for people just like Jeff.
I am so sorry for your loss.
With love, E.

I have to assume that heaven needed Jeffrie back to keep the party going there. I know his gentle kindness, Hawaiian shirts, dry wit and easy humour will be sorely missed here by more than just me. I still can’t look at a box of Vegetable Thins crackers without seeing his printing in black marker, “Crackers for the Cracker!” – my favourite office warming gift ever! It is with a heavy heart that I send condolences to the Owen and Torok families from myself, my family and my staff.
With much love,
Samantha Colautti

I remember Jeff as our enthusiastic hockey coach who with great effort organized a group of unskilled players into a graceful show on ice. But realizing our limited skill set, I think he mostly enjoyed the post game highlights and camaraderie.

Cousin Jeff will be missed. Always so much fun to be with. I will cherish our childhood boxing Day trips to Marsh’s Christmas display. The smartest thing Jeff did was marry Kitty, they were perfect for each other and Kitty fit right into our goofy family. Lots of love and strength to Kitty and the boys. We are with you in spirit.
Craig kellough
Our condolences Kitty, to you, the kids and your entire Family.
We have so many fond memories of you guys as neighbors and friends. Lots of laughs, lots of good times and that’s what I think of, when I think of Jeff and you and your Family.
Take care
