My deepest condolences to Joanie’s family. She was a fun person to be with and Tom and I enjoyed visiting her in her Bolton house. I’m sorry for not keeping in closer contact with her and thought I might see her once more. My regrets but I will unable to be at the Memorial Service next week. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sadness. May Joanie Rest In Peace. God Bless.
Arline and family.
My sister was a firecracker in her day. She was thoughtful, resourceful, and a source to be reckoned with. I am going to miss our long chats on the phone, talking about things that happened or places that we used to live over our childhood years. No one can take her place. She is at rest now. She will be sorely missed by so many friends and her great family. My love and condolences go out to her family and her friends. We will all miss her so much.

I’m so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. Joan was my mom’s cousin. But more than that, she was a great friend to my mom when my mom needed a friend. They shared lots of laughs, a few travel adventures, great homemade meals and feisty card games! She was all no-nonsense and said it like it was – refreshing! Condolences and hugs to all her family.

Joan was my first friend & neighbour when I moved to the country. We each had five chidren & would shop together so we bought quite a lot & some of the shoppers would ask us if we were running a rooming house. We went on holidays & to movies & always had a good time. I will miss our chats but the fun times we had will always bring a smile.

Joan was a wonderful friend and mother of my best friend Bonnie and we rented a house beside the Bergermans in Sandhill as we were building our first new home on the Second line of Albion and 10 sideroad. My parents were good friends with the Bergermans and visited often. The Bergermans moved to 5 sideroad and 2nd line Albion and I spent most of my free time visiting Bonnie there. Joan was a person that could make you smile no matter how down you were and she had a laugh that could always cheer you up. She was an amazing friend and special person in my life as I was always there in my visits with Bonnie. She was a part of my growing up and I have never forgotten her. If anyone has ever tasted her homemade bread you will probably agree with me that it was the best bread that I’ve ever eaten and still can smell and taste it just by thinking about it…it was the best… my condolences to Maryanne Mark Suzie and Bruce…I miss Bonnie tremendously….your Mother was a special woman and one of a kind she will be missed by all and her smile and kindness topped all….a special lady and one of a kind …a wonderful friend
