The “lady with the beautiful smile” passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Edythe Joan Baker was the much loved wife of Frank Baker and is predeceased by her first husband Stanley Wesley Cochrane. Joan will be forever missed by her children Brenda (John), Brian (Lori), and Bev (Larry), and Frank’s children Peter, and Tracy (Chris). Much adored Nana to Brandon (Carol), Cassandra (Kevin), Karlee (John), Natalee (Mike), Chloe (Jordan), Kevin (Brittany), Holly, Rachael, and Kirsten. Great-Grandnana to Addison, Luke and Benjamin. Thanks to the phenomenal staff at Headwaters, F Wing. You are an amazing group and we appreciate the compassion and professionalism as you cared for Joanie.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Saturday, February 13 from one o’clock until time of memorial service in the chapel at 2 o’clock.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin, 25 Centennial Road #1, Orangeville L9W 1R1.
