I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to Joan’s family. Joan was a very special lady. I have many wonderful memories of our time together in the Adult Day Program and when she lived at the Davis Centre. We had a special visit at the Centre this summer. She will alway hold a special place in my heart.
Take Care,

To Joan’s Family: I was saddened to read of your mum’s passing. Although I’ve been retired from Caledon Public Library for a number of years now, I remember your mum most fondly from when she attended a seniors’ program at the Albion Bolton Branch. I truly looked forward to seeing her every month. She had a smile that lit up the room and I loved how she was always ready to have a good time, especially if music was involved. She loved her Elvis! We shared many laughs and I smile at the remembrance. I send my sincere condolences to all her family.

Rest In Peace Joan, my big sister. Although I have many good memories of you, what I remember most is your fun loving spirit. As a child, I always remember you upstairs in your room…doing something…ironing your clothes…fixing your hair…some task, that was always done with a smile, and music in the background.. We kids used to come up and bug you, and you would pretend to get mad at us, and tell us to quote “be like the breezes, and blow”, in other words get out., but we knew you didn’t really mean it! Just a little memory of you, Joanie…my funny, beautiful sister.

I remember Joan well. She certainly livened up the bus on our morning drives to the adult day program at the Davis Centre. One of my favourite passengers! My condolences on your loss!
