So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We will always remember her home made fudge at Halloween. Mom made Middlebrooks our first house and wouldn’t take us any further unless we gave it to her. Your all in our thoughts. Love from all the Tobin’s

My deepest condolences for the loss your mother. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Middlebrook – walks in the summer, cross country skiing in the winter, milkshake concoctions in the kitchen. She was such an important part of my childhood; was endlessly generous with her time, patience and energy toward me. I’m forever grateful to have known her. She was truly a special person in this world.

My heart goes out to the Middlebrook family. She was a special lady for sure and such a part of growing up for the kids of our family. Such a dear friend to my mom and dad through the years and her fudge was legendary! May her love carry her family through this time of loss until we all meet again on the “other side” where there will be much celebration.

Growing up beside the Middlebrooks was like an extension to my family. Joan was always the active one ready to Cross Country ski at the drop of a hat! Always genuinely interested in what everyone was up to and willing to play referee when one was needed!
My heart goes out to you all. Know that you are within our thoughts and prayers.

My sympathies go out to the Middlebrook family.
I remember as a child running over the lane to see her and Clarke.
They were always very kind and cheerful.
Joan would be cooking up something almost every time we would come a calling. Her kind smile was very warm and her temperament was as such too.
She was quick to correct us if we got acting up, then would give us all a home baked cookie and send us out to play.
She was a wonderful person and will be missed. She will always be in fond childhood memories for me.
Rest In Peace Joan.

Such a lovely lady. I remember our meeting finalizing the sale of the farm, she was so pleased that a “young” couple were taking over!! George and I were honoured to take over as the custodians of a farm that she and Clark had devoted their lives to. So pleased that they were able to see and approve of the farm and house evolving as it is today. That was very important to us. She lived a full life, active and contributing much to her community. We were honoured to have known her. Love, hugs and sympathy to all her family. George and Lynn
